Summary:Join Doyle Davidson and other ministers of the gospel ministering this evening with power in word and in song.
After opening the program tonight Doyle addresses the powers and principalities of darkness over the University of Missouri as an apostle and prophet of Jesus Christ.
[The Gospel and the Cross Are the Same]
Doyle begins ministering out of 1 Corinthians 1:17-18, the cross and the gospel are the same. The gospel being how that Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, he was buried, and he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. The cross is the same, the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. The cross and the gospel, the power of God to everyone that believeth, and are being saved.
17: For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
18: For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
[He That God Sends Speaks God’s Words]
Doyle shares how that if God has sent you, you will be preaching the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. You will be bringing forth fruit, and that fruit shall remain. Your fruit will be doing the same works that Jesus did when he was on the earth, only greater works, more in number. Doyle continues sharing how that in June 1970, God gave him a vision about the true vine (John 15:1-8 ), and on to say how that it is the resurrected Jesus working in us, with us, confirming the words of the gospel with signs following ( Matthew 16:14-20).
[I Prayed For You]
Doyle continues sharing how he has prayed, interceding for his people, travailing in birth again till Christ be formed in you again, that his people be conformed to the image of Jesus, their hearts knit together in love.
“....I believe Jesus and he sent me, an apostle and prophet to bring forth fruit. Thank God. To restore you to grace, to restore you to where Jesus is in you, and effective….”
