9/16/2018AM - Being Born Again - Purifying Your Souls - Overcoming Persecutions

Join Water of Life today as they minister the gospel in word, song and power. The Browns Mixed Quartet minister “Washed In The Blood / I’ll Fly Away”. Kathie Davidson ministers several scriptures answering the question, “When I was born again, what did I get?” and she begins with John 3, “you must be born again”. Paul Peters shares 1 Peter 1:21-22, “…God, that raised him up from the dead…” and Terre Brown also comments, that we “…purify our souls through obeying the truth…” and are “…transformed by the renewing of our minds” (Romans 12:2). Doyle talks about the persecutions and afflictions laid upon his soul by those he was sent to minister to (Psalm 143) and some of the effects of those persecutions according to Hebrews 4:12 “…the joints and marrow…”. Terre shares testimonies of overcoming sin and the physical symptoms that can manifest as we are overcoming. Doyle brings up testimonies of delivering Terre, including praying in Ohio and delivering her from education, according to Isaiah 47:10, “…Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee…” Doyle warns God’s people of the danger of those who preach the word by the letter, and not by the Spirit, “for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life” (2 Corinthians 3:6)

The remainder of the program is spent in praise and worship, following the hour, and Doyle closes praying, “Mercy, grace...more grace...mercy, grace...be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, God bless you.”
