Summary:

Join Water of Life tonight as they minister the gospel in word, song and power.Kathie Davidson opens the program, sharing that although Doyle Davidson is not on the set, he is praying in his office. She reminds God’s people of the word of knowledge the Lord spoke to Doyle years ago “Don’t war to defeat the devil he’s already been defeated; war to take the land.” She exhorts the Church that one of our most powerful weapons is praise and worship, and the hour was devoted to just that. Anthony Reece closes the program, encouraging the listeners, no matter where they are, they can call upon the name of the Lord and be saved.

8/11/2019PM - God Will Restore Us, and We Will Not Be Ashamed - Praise and Worship

Summary:

Join Water of Life tonight as they minister the gospel in word, song and power. Kathie Davidson ministers Joel 2:23-32 at Doyle’s request and Doyle teaches from those verses, encouraging the God’s people according to verse 23, “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.” They also minister Genesis 41:50-52, “And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house. And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.” and reminds us, the Lord ministered to him that he is of the tribe of Joseph.

8/11/2019AM - The Father Raised Jesus From the Dead - Praise and Worship

Summary:

Join Water of Life today as they minister the gospel in word, song and power. Kathie Davidson ministers several scriptures, exhorting God’s people that the Lord of hosts, who appeared to Moses and Daniel and others, gave up all his power and ability and became a baby, a mortal. He went to the cross as a mortal; how did he do it? By the Spirit of God; “who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God. (Hebrews 9)” Doyle Davidson expounds on her message, teaching from Ephesians 1, (ministered by Terre Brown) “...it was the Father, through the Spirit, that raised Jesus from the dead.” Doyle also announces Kathie will be airing her Thursday messages on a radio station in San Francisco, California, beginning August 18th. Following praise and worship, Doyle closes the program praying, “Thank you Father thank you Jesus..mercy, grace...be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, God bless you.”

8/7/2019PM - Those That Come to Jesus, He Won't Cast Out - Praise and Worship

Summary:

Join Water of Life tonight as they minister the gospel in word, song and power. Tonight Kathie Davidson opens the program with Anthony Reece, and briefly shares that Doyle Davidson continues to overcome. She exhorts God’s people, “Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever” and those who come to Jesus, he will “in no wise cast out.” She ministers the account of the Syrophoenician woman who came to Jesus seeking help for her daughter and her daughter was healed (Matthew 15). Following praise and worship, Anthony reminds us of Romans 10:13, “whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” and just as the Syrophoenician woman received salvation, we can also, when we call upon the name of Jesus.

Doyle Davidson was born on a farm near Sarcoxie, Missouri in 1932. He served as a hospital corpsman in the United States Navy during the Korean War, spending 27 months in Yokosuka, Japan. After his return to the states he was one of thirty students admitted to the University of Missouri, School Of Veterinary Medicine in 1958. In August, just prior to entering veterinary school, he was rotating the tires on his car and the presence of God fell upon him and he heard the Lord say, “I don’t want you to be a veterinarian, I want you to be a minister of the gospel.” He did not obey God that day, and continued with his plan to become a veterinarian.

Upon his graduation, Doyle moved to North Texas and established a successful equine veterinary practice. In 1968, God moved in his life, and for two years an angel of the Lord rode in his car asking when he was going to preach the gospel. In 1969 the Lord told him to sell his hospital and practice and obey him and January 2, 1970 the sale was finalized.

Doyle was born again when he was almost six years old and in 1970 Jesus became Lord of his life and he was subsequently baptized in water and in the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues. The Lord sent him to Israel in 1974 and on June 17 at the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem God called him into the ministry. God sent him to publicly preach the gospel in 1977 in the First United Methodist Church in McKinney, Texas as a lay speaker. In 1980 God instructed him to speak to the people in Plano, Texas. He established Water of Life Ministries in 1980 and moved into the present location in January 1981. Today he and others with him minister the gospel to the world via the internet, Roku, radio, shortwave radio and Facebook.
